We work with a diverse range of clients, including those funded privately, by local authorities, and by the NHS commission, always putting people first and ensuring they feel valued. Lastly, we are different from others because we are not a franchise, amongst this team, we have a doctor as one of the manager, business lawyer as the second manager, we have qualified nurses who are very happy working in the company because of the relationship we have established in the past. Though I am the director, I shall always be in the field, one to one with every client, from assessment process to individual care plan, we again provides transportation to our staffs who do not drive in order to prevent staffs burnout and unnecessary lateness.
At the heart of everything we do is respect for the wishes of our clients to remain in their own homes. Home is where memories are; maybe happy memories of family weddings, great birthday parties or is of a long and happy marriage life. The home also provides shelter and protection from the outside world; we would like to help our clients to stay at home for as long as possible with dignity and safety by providing first class compassionate support from our great team of fully trained carers and very experienced office staff.
Our careers are not ‘just carers’ or franchises, we are often the only people our clients see all day long, as one client said Tessy and her team always arrives with a smile on their faces and bringing sunshine to each visit so we always pick our staffs very carefully. Again, we have a rigorous set of recruitment procedures based on our core values and we obtain a DBS and references as well as conducting a thorough value-based interview process. For example, we interview prospective carers using our values based questions to establish whether the interviewee is suitable or not, and thereafter, our values are woven into team meetings, supervisions, and training. In additions, our care staff are fully trained and insured for any eventuality in your home. Plus we provide all PPE and cleaning materials, and we continually review and improve our policies and procedures so that, no matter what type of help our clients needed, they can be assured that they will receive the same first class level of services. Please read some of our character references as our review and see how our commitment can make the difference.
Here at Holy Ghost Health Care we believe that our key difference is that our career are the best they can be, because every carer is provided with full training and induction for which they are paid, unlike some other care providers. They will then shadow with me or experienced carers before going into the community, only after these important stages are they allowed visiting clients on their own. We ensure that our training is at the forefront of current best practices and industry insight. We fundamentally believe that better training means better carers, which simply means better care for our clients. Read our reviews.
From an early age I developed the desire to help others who are vulnerable or less capable than myself, for this vision, I started Care jobs at the age of sixteen and was recorded in Stuttgart (Germany) as the youngest black girl to have worked in a nursing home, this was featured on most German TV back then. I also joined the church “Kirchenevangelische” group at a very young age visiting and praying for prisoners. I also became a prison office at a time here in the UK. I have travelled to many countries for evangelical purposes.
With companionate heart, I then progressed to become a Senior Carer, after a while I Studied advance Nursing at Derby University 2003 to 2005, although I didn’t complete the nursing registration, after various positions within the domiciliary and nursing home I became the Care Co-ordinator and a deputy manager, after few years, I went for my master degree programme where I gained MSc Crimininology 2009 to 2011 and became a prison officer. But Holy Ghost community health care was registered January 2022. I remain a diligent and self-motivated care worker who is empathetic, compassionate, respectful, unbiased, confident, and resilient with good dedication to caring for others, with a good working knowledge of the Care Quality Commission’s regulatory frame work and the Health and Social Care Acts including the Covid 19 regulatory guidance relevant to the job.

For those who are choosing a care service for the first time the process may appear a little confusing. We also know that most of the time people and their families who are looking for care need it set up quickly and that most of them haven’t been through the process before. We want to ensure that you have the appropriate information, so that you are able to make an informed decision. We have set out some information and thoughts below that we hope may help in choosing care to meet your needs and preference.
There are two main choices available to those who require care: going into a residential care home or receiving care at home. Care at home is possible so long as the person needing support is in a condition whereby they are able to manage in their own home with a helping hand – to a greater or lesser extent – from friends, family and/or a care at home service. Of course, staying in your own home means you retain independence and have autonomy in deciding what you do and when you do it, and those who value both these will do far better receiving care at home, however, care at home is simply not possible due to the amount of physical support they require or their level of cognitive function. We can help you to decide which type of care is suitable and will be open and honest in letting you know if we are able to provide support at home in the particular circumstances. We would be delighted to help with any other questions you may have – please let us know.
